DEFIANCE: To Be Screened at U.N. Holocaust Remembrance - Jamie Bell

The four-day event includes panel discussions, exhibits and talks,
keynoted by Nechama Tec.
The movie version of Defiance will be screened at the U.N.
Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.
It is the story of the Bielski Partisans, a resistance group
that conducted the largest armed rescue of Jews by Jews
during World War II.

STAGECOACH: It's official! We have permission to perform 'Billy Elliot'.


Trudy from the Stagecoach school emailed today
to say that they were very excited about having been
given permission by Billy Elliot the Musical in London
to do 7 performances of 'Billy' in 2010.

Jamie Bell was a student at Stagecoach Yarm and Trudy was the
one who rang up Jamie's mum when she heard of the auditions
for Billy Elliot the movie...The rest is history.
